A change in our ban policy

Hello, this is Diabllo of the GBTH Team, I wanted to share a policy change in regards to our ban policy. It\'s not a big change, the way we ban people isn\'t changing except in one way: When you have a total of 6 or more bans that have not been appealed, doesn\'t matter on the type of ban, your account is permanently banned. To find out how many bans you have, Click here. Let\'s make an example. Let\'s pretend that you\'re user Mr_Innocent (fictional user I made up), and this is what you see in your ban history: 1. Inappropriate ID, 1st Offense, 3 day ban 2. Misuse of Freeboards, 1st Offense, 3 day ban 3. Misuse of Freeboards, 2nd Offense, 15 day ban 4. Freekilling, 1st Offense, -30% GP/GOLD + 3 day ban 5. Sharing Account, 1st Offense, -30% GP/GOLD + 3 day ban 6. Freekilling, 2nd Offense, -40% GP/GOLD + Permanent Ban Even though the second offense for Freekilling is generally a 15 day ban, the user was banned permanently for the fact that he has accumulated 6 or more bans in total. In this example, the user has not appealed any of his previous bans, so the record stays on his account. Note: Successfully appealed bans will not be in your ban record, the GM will remove it from your account. Note 2: This is NOT retroactive, so if you already have 6 or more bans on your account, take this as your warning that your next ban is permanent, however we will not permanently ban those who already have 6 or more prior to this notice. That is part of the example user\'s ban record. Giving away/sharing accounts is prohibited and the account will be banned.

the problem is, how would you identify the one who make free killing? ex. in 4 on4 games. my friend got permanent banned. he is innocent, he made a ticket but none of the assign staff didn\'t reply.. (helping friend)

Hola soy Diabllo el equipo del GBTH. Yo quiero compartir un gran cambio de politica con respecto a nuestra politica de banneds no es un gran cambio pero la forma en que la gente obtiene su banned no cambian. excepto en un sentido. cuando se obtiene 6 banneds o mas banneds, nosotros aun asi vamos a saber y su cuenta sera baneada permanente. para saber cuantos banneds llevan usd denle click en donde lo tiene diabllo. Vamos hacer un ejemplo. hagamos cuenta que eres Mr_Innocent (usuario de mentira que hizo diabllo) y esto es lo que va a tener en su historial de banned. 1,- ID inapropiado, primera ofensa, 3 dias de banned. 2.- El uso indebido de FREE BOARD, primera ofensa, 3 dias de banned 3.- El uso indebido de FREE BOARD,segunda ofensa, 15 dias de banned 4.- FreeKilling, ofensa numero 1 -30% GP / ORO + 3 días de banned. 5.- Cuenta compartida primera ofensa -30% GP / ORO + 3 días de banned. 6.- Freekilling segunda ofensa, -40% GP / ORO + ban permanente. A pesar de que la segunda ofensa de Freekilling en general una prohibicion de 15 dias, el usuario se ha puesto en banned permanente por el hecho de completar los 6 banneds EN TOTAL, En este eejemplo el usuarioo no ha apeliado con sus banneds anteriores, que con los banneds que tu llevas acomulado en su cuenta. Nota: Las prohibiciones apeliado con exito no estara en su registro de banned el gm lo eliminara de su cuenta. Nota2:Esta no es retroactive, asi que usted ya lleva 6 o mas prohibiciones de su cuenta, tome este ejemplo como ADVERTENCIA de que su proxima prohibicion es permanente, sin embargo prohibir de forma permanente que aquellos ya lleven mas de 6 banneds antes de este aviso. i would like to propose another additional traits for bans: - violent word/grammar/slangs/ abbreviation and other nasty curse and swearing in all the players native language. its not healthy to constantly hearing them cursing us with their native language. the first step is to collect all the necessary databank for any violent word as explained above, hope this help GM team alot. thanks Sincerely, Indonesian players

Explanation and details of BAN POLICY is too simple even though it could be done in a complex way , pls ADMINS explain further about this BAN POLICY there\'s too much loophole in it , that we players carry the disadvantages in it. sorry to say this ADMINS .. but only SIMPLETONS would agree with this kind of explanation especially bout the SHARING of ACCOUNTS. :\'D

You should all be aware of our policy, but as a refresher, I will explain Freekilling in the following example. User 1 & User 2 share the same IP. Most likely this is someone with 2 computers and same internet. User 1 is a Wand account and User 2 is a chick account. User 1 wins all games for 20+ games, while User 2 wins zero games with zero gold. We understand you might be playing with family/friends, but do not take advantage of this scenerio or your family/friend for that matter, as it will result in a temporary, if not permanent ban of your account. If you want to play with your family/friend, play with others as well, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4. If you have any questions regarding our policy, please open a ticket and a member of our staff will be happy to assist you. Asking questions on the freeboards does not get answered as quickly as opening at ticket. A timely response is guaranteed from our ticketing system. Thanks! =)

You should make your own account and play on your own account. If a dragon account is sharing their account with other players to keep up their GP, then yes, they would have a GP loss and temporary ban. Same goes to any other ranked account. We understand that not all players will only play at their home, they might go to a friend\'s house or cybercafe. Do not worry, we\'re not the police, but we take account sharing seriously, especially if it results in the loss of an account due to an angry friend changing their password, or unfair gameplay where you are not earning your own rank. If you have any further questions regarding our policy, feel free to open a ticket, and we will respond in a timely manner. Thanks! =)

Free to post, not free to violate our ToS. You agreed to our Tos (Terms of Service) which you are electronically signing an agreement NOT to harass, swear, bully ANYONE on our service which includes Game & Website. how u all detect we sharing account? based on IP address? But sometime I play using HOTSPOTSHIELD to bypass college proxy, so when use proxy, IP address automatic change right...so what will happen? I will ban also?

for me, its really hard to tell if they are sharing account/s or not if your base is only the IP address. once they get banned, you guys will end up getting more support tickets. hihi just a thought. :P

Sharing accounts, stupid idea, with dynamic IP i\'ll be playing under a different one everyday, so that\'ll be considered acc sharing. It seems 12 years old think about these implementations (no surprise about this game), they don\'t take into account all possibilities.
